I am delighted to now bring my cartoon illustrations direct to your wedding (or other event). Add something a little bit unique and special to your day whilst also giving your guests the chance to take home a personalised wedding favour as a lasting memory of your special day.
Custom watercolour cartoon portraits make the perfect memento for your day, whilst the drawing process itself provides interactive entertainment for your guests.
I am based in East Devon but happy to travel across the South for weddings and events.

How does it work?
Once set up guests sign up on my list and I take a reference photo from which to draw their cartoon. I try and work generally to the order of the list but prioritise the wedding party where I can.
Depending on how much interest there is, and questions I get asked, a fair amount of time can be spent taking reference photos which is why it is important at larger events for me to start as early as possible in the day to gather reference photos and get started. Each portrait varies depending on the complexity of outfits, and number of people etc but generally each portrait takes me approximately 15 minutes each.
I will complete as many portraits as possible in the time booked. There are options for any uncompleted portraits to be completed after the event and delivered to you to distribute to your guests to make sure no one misses out.
Each couple will also receive an A4 personalised wedding portrait from their day, please note depending on timings this may be delivered after the wedding day

Wedding packages
Packages start from 4 hours, although I would suggest a minimum of 6 hours for the average wedding. All packages include an A4 couple portrait and unlimited drawing of A5 or A6 postcard guest portraits within that time. The prices below are valid for 2025-2026. For events 2027 and beyond please contact me for a quote.
4 hours – £450
6 hours – £650
Additional hours at £75 per hour
Additional guest portraits finished after event £10 each + P&P
Travel – Venues within 40 miles of Starcross will not incur a travel charge. Venues located outside of that distance will be subject to a travel charge which will be advised at the time of your enquiry. I do not charge a set fee per mile as it will depend on if a hotel or other expenses will be incurred.
